Victoria Falls Acrylic Canvas
Medium: Acrylic and Gesso
Box Canvas Size: 40cm x 30cm (16in by 12in)
A client wished to give their parents a painting of Victoria Falls as a 50th wedding Anniversary present as they had honeymooned there. They weren’t sure whether their parents would prefer a watercolour on paper or an acrylic version on a box canvas. So they commissioned me to create two paintings and provided a copy of the photo’s that their parents had taken back in the 60’s.
The moment of the reveal was lovely as the family had happy tears of a thoughtful gift and happy memories. They chose the watercolour version and I’ve enjoyed hanging this canvas in my own home. But it’s now time to find a permanent home for it.
